A natural, unpadded shoulder with 'spalla camicia' construction allows for modest shirring (or 'grinze') where a larger sleeve head is set into a comparatively high and smaller armhole. Broad and straight lapels roll generously towards a relatively low 3-roll-2 buttoning point, while the balanced gorge position is neither overly classic nor too contemporary. Drape is built into the chest for greater comfort and to flatter the wearer.
Made up in a 260 GLM Houndstooth wool woven in Ireland with an open weave, making for a cool wearing cloth with excellent crease resistance.
